What is Diabetes:

Diabetes refers to a condition where your blood glucose (also known as blood sugar) is too high. Your main source of energy is blood glucose, which comes from the foods you eat. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas. It helps glucose from your food to get into your cells for energy. Sometimes, your body doesn’t produce enough insulin or doesn’t use insulin properly. The glucose stays in your bloodstream and doesn't get to your cells.



Types of Diabetes

There are three main types of diabetes: type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes (diabetes while pregnant).
Type 1 Diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is thought to be caused by an autoimmune reaction (the body attacks itself by mistake).

Type 2 Diabetes. With type 2 diabetes, your body doesn’t use insulin well and can’t keep blood sugar at normal levels. About 90-95% of people with diabetes have type 2. 

Gestational Diabetes.

Gestational diabetes develops in pregnant women who have never had diabetes. If you have gestational diabetes, your baby could be at higher risk for health problems.

Kazano (alogliptin and metformin HCl) is an antidiabetic medication used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus, along with diet and exercise.KAZANO tablets contain two oral antihyperglycemic drugs used in the management of type 2 diabetes: alogliptin and metformin hydrochloride.
 (Form & Strength):Tablets: 5 mg and 10 mg.




LYXUMIA, LIXISENATIDE  INJECTION

Lyxumia injection contains the active substance lixisenatide. It is an injectable medicine used to help your body to control your blood sugar level when it is too high. Lyxumia is used with other medicines for diabetes when they are not enough to control your blood sugar levels
